MeVoyViajando wasn't born when I decided to travel. It was born when I understood that losing everything could also be a beginning.
In February 2018 I made one of the most important decisions of my life. After living about ten years in Comodoro Rivadavia, I went through a very hard financial situation that cost me nearly everything. Instead of giving up, I decided to go see the world.
I arrived in Puerto Natales, Chile, and what was meant to be a temporary stop became one of the most extraordinary chapters of my life. Some people who believed in me offered me something unthinkable: a house. Instead of keeping it for myself, I decided to open its doors through Couchsurfing. That's how the Jhony Hause was born: a one-of-a-kind multicultural meeting point in Patagonia.
For several years the house welcomed between 15 and 25 people a day, hitting a record of 31 simultaneous guests on December 31, 2018. Backpackers from all over the world lived under one roof, sharing meals, cultures and dreams. Along the way I collected 287 references on Couchsurfing, and more than 600 guests left testimonials.
